Four simple steps to get started
Inquire or Book a Tour
Contact us by phone, email, or through our Book a Tour form.
Please include your child’s age, preferred location, program, and required schedule. Our team will provide current availability and explain the next steps.
Visit the Centre
A centre tour gives you the opportunity to:
- Explore the classrooms and learning spaces
- Meet members of our team
- Learn about daily routines and programming
- Ask questions about care, meals, communication, and safety
We want families to feel comfortable and confident before making an enrollment decision.
Availability & Waitlist
If a suitable space is available, our team will guide you through the registration process.
When a classroom is full, your family may be added to the waitlist. We will contact you when a space becomes available that matches your child’s age, program, location, and requested schedule.
Registration
Once a space is offered, families will receive the required enrollment forms and centre policies.
Fees tailored to your family’s needs
Fees may vary depending on:
- Your child’s program and age group
- Full-time or part-time care
- Number of scheduled days
- Centre location
- Services included in the program
We do not publish one standard rate because each family’s childcare arrangement may be different. Contact us for the current fee schedule for your preferred program and location.
Support that may lower your costs
Secret Heart Academy can provide the centre information and supporting details families may need when applying for the Government of British Columbia’s Affordable Child Care Benefit. However, parents and guardians are responsible for submitting the application, following up with the subsidy office, and ensuring that approved funding remains active and up to date.
Building a strong start together
Before a child begins attending Secret Heart Academy, families participate in a parent–educator meet and greet. This meeting provides an opportunity for parents to meet the educators, become familiar with the classroom environment, and discuss important information about their child.
Families can share details about their child’s routines, interests, comfort needs, communication style, allergies, medical considerations, and previous childcare experiences. Educators will also explain the daily schedule, classroom expectations, communication process, gradual-entry plan, and what families should bring on the child’s first day.
A gentle start for every child
We use a gradual-entry process to help children become comfortable with their educators, classroom, and daily routine.
This may include shorter visits during the first few days before your child begins their regular schedule. The transition plan may be adjusted according to your child’s age, comfort level, and individual needs.
